FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Seracu finds the pages your site is missing, then writes them in your voice and checks every claim. These are the questions people ask first.
Questions
Fair questions.
The service
What is Seracu?
A service from Adapt Progress Evolve Ltd, the UK studio behind ScriptGrain. You get a gap report of about 20 to 30 topics you're missing, plus finished articles to publish. The aim is to help you get found on Google and by AI, with the pages you should have.
How does it work?
Start with the free check: enter your website and you'll see the searches you already show up for, the sites like yours and your five biggest gaps. No account needed. Then pick Starter or Growth and pay once. We read your site, build a voice profile from it, produce the gap report, and write your articles. Everything lands in your dashboard. The how it works page has every step.
What do I need to provide?
Your website. When you set up, you tell us about your business, check what we found on your site, and can name up to five sites like yours.
Is it for agencies?
Each website gets its own check, report, voice profile and article library. Agency features such as white-labelling and team seats are not part of the first version.
Which countries?
The UK and US at launch. Prices appear in pounds or dollars, you get UK or US spelling, and the search results we analyse are UK or US to match.
Articles and voice
How long are the articles?
Up to 5,000 words each, as long as the topic needs. We size every article by looking at the pages that already rank for that search, and we never pad. Some are short. Not every article is 5,000 words.
Will it sound like us?
We build a voice profile from your own site, and ScriptGrain writes to it. Every article carries a voice-match score, which is ScriptGrain's measure of how close the draft sits to your profile. Open an article and you'll see the notes behind the score. If something's off, edit it. Saving re-scores the match.
What if I edit an article?
Go ahead. The editor handles headings, bold, italic, links, lists and quotes, and versions are kept. Any change to checked text marks the article "Edited since fact-check", so nobody mistakes your edit for ours.
Do I own the articles?
Yes. You own the articles you pay for. The terms say so in full.
Why not just use a general chatbot?
You can. What you get here that a blank prompt box doesn't give you is a gap report built on search data, a voice profile drawn from your site, and a fact-check that traces each claim to a web page we fetched. An article that can't meet that standard is swapped for the next topic, not shipped.
Fact-checking
What does "fact-checked" mean?
Every factual claim is traced to a cited source, or removed. Each article has a sources list showing the pages behind the claims. The label stops applying to any text you change, which is why edited articles are flagged.
What data do you use?
Search numbers come from DataForSEO. We also read your own website, and we look at the pages your rivals rank with. Article claims are checked against web pages we fetched. Every number in the dashboard shows where it came from when you hover over it.
Publishing
How do I publish?
Download each article as Markdown, HTML or Word, or take a zip of everything you've approved, then copy it into your website. The report downloads as a PDF. There is no direct push to a website builder yet; that's planned for later.
Will Google penalise AI-written content?
Google's spam policy describes scaled content abuse as many pages generated for the primary purpose of manipulating search rankings, however they are made. That's not what we deliver. You get 3 or 10 pages, each on a real gap, sourced, and approved by you before you publish.
Will it rank?
We can't promise that, and nobody honestly can. Google says no one can guarantee a #1 ranking. Results can take months. Articles are guidance to publish, not a promise of results.
Pricing and account
What does it cost?
Prices include VAT. Starter is £99: the report, 3 articles and 1 month of dashboard. Growth is £249: the report, 10 articles and 3 months of dashboard. Every article has internal links to your existing pages. An extra article is £25. In dollars: Starter $129, Growth $329, extra article $35. See pricing.
What happens when my months run out?
After your included months, the dashboard goes read-only. Your articles and downloads stay. Keeping the dashboard working is £29 a month ($39 in the US). A re-check of an article you've edited is £5 ($7).
Is there a refund?
The founding group, the first sites run through Seracu on invitation, has a refund promise. It's written out in the terms. For everyone else, if something has gone wrong, email us and we'll put it right. That doesn't affect your legal rights.
What happens to my data?
You can export it, and you can ask us to delete it. Sign-in is by emailed link, so there's no password to look after. See the privacy page.
Search and AI results
Will this help me show up in AI answers?
The pages are written to answer the questions people ask, with sources, which is the kind of page we think both Google and AI assistants have most to work with. We can't promise either will use them, and we don't measure AI-answer visibility in the first version.
